Its Wednesday again, time for a new classic. After experimenting with beat machines and a small keyboard in 1986, he began recording the track "Altered States" while still in high school. He released it on Armando's Warehouse Records in 1990 (At age 17). The track became a club hit among devotees of techno despite Trent's grounding in the Chicago house scene.

Second installment of the "track of the week" that enables us to post about forgotten gems. This one is called Choice - Acid Eiffel. It's a track made by Laurent Garnier together with Shazz. Released in 1993 on Fnac that later became F-Comm. It's a trip that i used to have on repeat.

This is a year-long time-lapse study of the sky. A camera installed on the roof of the Exploratorium museum in San Francisco captured an image of the sky every 10 seconds, which created this beautiful mosaic of movies, each one representing one day. The music is "Aerial" by Moby.... Enjoy :)

For those of you who didn't see it yet, here is a superb video installation from Bill Viola "The Reflecting Pool". Bill Viola is one of the pioneers of video as a form of contemporary art, and this video dates from the late 70's. He also collaborated with Nine Inch Nails in 2000 to create a video suite for their Fragility tour...you might wanna check that out as well !!!

This came out today on Throne Of Blood records, this time featuring the Belfasts Bicep. They are the guys behind the Feel My Bicep blog. Darwin is an absolute late night monster jam. Featured here is an edit of Darwin by Retro/Grade, the new project from Tom Neville and Sergio Santiago.

This is a cool track from Eberhard Schoener's "Flashback" LP released in 1978. For this album, he collaborated with Sting, Andy Summers and Steward Copland, the members of the british band "The Police".

Felix Rennefeld known for his "The Max" on Great Stuff Recordings has been performing under an alter ego called Alexander Marcus for a while now. Rennefeld's music is a mixture of modern electronic club music and folk music, which he has named 'Electro Lore', a combination of 'electro' and 'folklore'. Also check "Ciao Ciao Bella" and the "Hawaii Toast Song"! Hilarious!!!

D.I.M. just dropped his new release on Boysnoize Records. La Prarie is the B-side of Kleine Träume, if you can still call it a B-side nowadays. Haha.
